Panel on Careers for Liberal Arts Students (Baruch College)

On April 7, 2011 from 5:30-7:30, an AAP/bookjobs.com representative from Macmillan will be on the Baruch College campus to participate in a panel on Careers for Liberal Arts Students for the College of Arts & Sciences. This representative will focus on careers in book publishing for interested students. Book publishing isn't just for English majors! Bookjobs.com is an initiative of the Association of American Publishers' Diversity, Recruit & Retain Committee. It's a "one-stop shop" for general information on the book publishing industry, publisher profiles, industry events, and listings for internships and full-time jobs in the book publishing field! Publishing is full of possibilities, filled with career paths for every interest. Publishing houses have positions in finance, marketing, sales, publicity, design, editorial, legal, production, and many more!
